College Next is here to help Central Valley counselors and teachers with resources to share with families as they plan and prepare for college.

College Talk Ideas for the Classroom:
 

  • Create a "College Corner" so students see college catalogs and posters every day.

  • When students talk about future careers, tell them what type of education they'll need to get there

  • Wear your college sweatshirt to school and tell your students why you picked that college.

  • Invite a guest speaker/or alumnus to talk about how they got to college.

  • Tell your students you think they are college material.
